Ballybunion Fire Station


Welcome to the Ballybunnion Fire Station for the Kerry Fire and Rescue Service located in Eastend, Ballybunnion in North Kerry. The beautiful seaside town of Ballybunnion has for decades welcomed visitors from all over the world, its two sandy beaches afford the visitor time to swim, surf and relax, and two championship golf courses are located in the resort area. The Ballybunnion Fire Station is a single pump station which services not only the coastal area of Ballybunnion, but also includes Astee, Ballyduff, Causeway and Kerryhead. The station retains a staff of 9 fire service crew and two appliances. The main appliance is a 1998 Dennis Sabre XL and the second appliance is a 1996 Volvo FL6 which are maintained by mechanic and driver T.J. McCarron. 

billyBilly Brosnan is the Acting Station Officer for the Ballybunnion Fire Station. Billy has many years of experience working with the Fire Service in Kerry. Billy is assisted by Sub Station Officer Christy O’Donoghue. The station attends a variety of incidents including road traffic collisions.
